Loki is not a normal superhero (or antihero? Villain?) tv show. I am glad to say that my fears were completely unfounded. Did I really want to see a new Loki that didn’t go through that journey? Were they asking me to fall in love with a completely new character? Honestly, I was a bit trepidatious when they announced the new show. His journey from 2011’s Thor, all the way up to his demise in Avengers: Infinity War was one of the best character arcs of the series. It was also very funny, sad, mysterious, emotional as well as very intriguing.Īll six episodes of Moon Knight can be watched on Disney Plus.The God of Mischief is a fan favorite character in the Marvel universe, and one of my personal favorites. A lot of effort from the creative team went in making this show. It’s actually crazy how much they covered in just six episodes while having a great ending too that set up Phase Four’s overarching multiverse plot. Loki had some of the best visuals, set pieces and characters across all of the MCU shows on Disney Plus. Furthermore, they actually gave the show a satisfying ending in the six-episode format. Having great action, memorable characters as well as music, this is definitely one of the best MCU shows yet. Oscar Isaac clearly carries the show but the effort from the creators is also visible. Egyptian mythology is always interesting and it’s explored in a great way in this show. Moon KnightĮven though it was quite different from its comic lore, Disney Plus Moon Knight was amazing. Yes, the ending wasn’t as satisfying to a lot of fans but there’s no denying that WandaVision is an amazing show. Elizabeth Olsen delivered a great performance in this that resulted in a lot of acclaim and award nominations. WandaVision was a tribute to classic sitcoms, while also being an exploration of grief and lost love. This was the start of Phase Four of the MCU and Marvel started trying different things in this phase. Marvel Studios debuted on the streaming platform in a great way with WandaVision. Yes, it’s far from being perfect but it explored much stronger themes than most of MCU projects and the chemistry between both the main characters was amazing 3. Although the series started off slow, the adventure of Bucky and Sam definitely lived up to Captain America’s legacy. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier picks up after Steve Rogers handed the shield to Sam Wilson in Avengers: Endgame. The big cameo of The Kingpin was a huge disappointment for some fans. Though it definitely was a little disappointing towards the end, it still was a fun show. The most sweet part, though, came from Kate Bishop and Clint Barton’s team-up. The series itself is pretty good for the most part and both the lighting and cinematography were good too. ![]() ![]() Hawkeye is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame and it really is a good Christmas show. The series started off pretty well with the Captain Carter episode and it had more good episodes throughout, like the T’Challa one and Doctor Strange one, but overall it really isn’t as good as some of the other MCU series. The stories in the first season remained within the storytelling confines of the Infinity Saga only and the art style is fantastic. Marvel’s What If…? adapts the comic concept of alternate realities. Now this one is one of the most hyped Disney+ MCU originals. It’s first season has now concluded, but how does it compare to the other Marvel Cinematic Universe shows on Disney Plus?
